2.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Denison hopes to reactivate the Van 4 Mine in F010 or 2011. The mine site is generally located at Section <br />29, Township 46 North, Range 17 West of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, Montrose County, <br />Colorado. The Van 4 Mine is on U.S. Bureau 4 Land Management land. <br />The permitted uranium ore production rate for the Van 4 Mine is 20,000 tons per year. No ore will be <br />processed on site. Instead, ore will be transported off site for processing. No ore will be left on the <br />surface after mining ceases. The Van 4 Mine ?,? 1 be permitted as a minor source of air pollution as per <br />APCD Draft Construction Permit 09M00325F, for which the 30-day public comment period ended on <br />June 1, 2009.
