Inc. <br />Shift: Day/Night <br />Date: May 30, 2009 <br />Reporting Period: 05/26/09 through 05/30/09 <br />Days S M T W T F S <br />Work Shifts - - D D D D D <br /> - - - N N N - <br />D = Day Shift N = Night Shift <br />Ambient Temperature Range: Lows: 40°F to 50°F (+/-) Highs 52°F to 59° F (+/-) <br />AMEC: CQA Personnel On-site through the Reporting Period (See Attachment A). <br />AMES: Work not performed on Monday in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. Weather delays <br />due to rain over the weekend and on Tuesday delayed the construction of MSE Wall #2, Transfer <br />Station #5 retaining wall backfill and suspended haulage equipment due to saturated haul routes. <br />Only tracked equipment continued to work through the rain showers on Tuesday. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: <br />I) Earthworks <br />A) Overburden to Stockpile <br />1) LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden excavation continued between stations 23+00 (+/-) and 29+00 (+/-) and stations <br />0+00 (+/-) and 3+00 (+/-). Unsuitable material was transported to the Joe Dandy Main <br />Cresson backfill using CAT 777, and 40-ton articulating haul trucks. A CAT 345 excavator <br />and a CAT 375 track excavator loaded the haulage equipment, aided by a Cat D-10 dozer <br />The CAT 345 Excavator performed scaling on the LOB Delivery Road south slope between <br />stations 3+00 (+/-) to 6+50 (+/-). Excavated materials were hauled to the LOB Delivery Road <br />construction extending beyond design station 44+47.34 or to the Joe Dandy Main Cresson <br />Backfill. <br />Excavation of the Road Side Ditch was performed from between stations 5+50 (+/-) and 24+00 <br />(+/-), approximately 40 to 50 feet left of centerline. The excavation was performed using a <br />CAT 345 track excavator assisted by a CAT D-10 dozer. Excavated materials were hauled to <br />the LOB Delivery Road construction extending beyond design station 44+47.34 or to the Joe <br />Dandy Main Cresson Backfill. <br />Sheet 1 of 9 <br />LOB Weekly Report WE 05.30.09.D.doe
