The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (DRMS) has completed the first Adequacy Review
for the Ansley Pit #2 Conversion Application, Permit No. M-1995-027. Listed below is the
additional information we require in order to process the application.
General Operation Information
Part 5. Please indicate by circling the appropriate entry whether the 500 refers to lbs per year or tons
per year.
Rule 6.4.3 Exhibit C - Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Mans of Affected Lands
Please refer to Rule 6.4.3 to ensure that maps submitted display all of the requirements of the
Rules and Regulations. The Division's adequacy review indicates that the following items, at a
minimum, are missing from the maps required in this exhibit:
a) All adjoining surface owners of record.
b) The names and locations of all creeks, roads, buildings, oil and gas wells and lines, power and
communication lines on the area of affected land and within 200 feet of all boundaries of the
area. The Division's on-site inspection conducted 22 May 2009 indicated the presence of power
lines on site or within 200 feet t of the site, as well as buildings on adjacent land to the south.
c) The existing topography of the area with contour lines of sufficient detail to portray the direction
and rate of slope of the affected land.
d) Adequate as submitted.
e) The type of present vegetation covering the affected land.
0 In conjunction with Exhibit G - Water information, Subsection 6.4.7.
g) The owner's name, type of structures, and location of all significant, valuable, and permanent
man-made structures contained on the area of affected land and within 200 feet of the affected
land. This includes public roads, power lines, buildings.
