• WILDLIFE INFORMATION EXHIBIT H
1. Significant Game Resources on the Affected Lands
Mule deer are probably the most critical game resource in this area. Most of the current
landscape offers very little ground cover for deer and other small mammals for most of the year.
2. Significant Non-Game Resources on the Affected Lands
Fox and coyote are probably the most critical non-game resource in this area. Since there is very
little ground cover for large portions of the year, the value of the site for mammals is extremely
limited. There are no known raptor nests on the permit area or in the vicinity, but it is likely that
eagles or hawks may utilize the cottonwoods at the lower elevation near the eastern edge of the
permit area.
0 3. Seasonal Use of Affected Lands
No important seasonal use.
4. Presence and Estimated Population of Threatened or Endangered species in the area.
None.
5. Fish Resources
None.
r?
LaSalle Pit, April 09 H-1
