They will prevent erosion and provide forage and cover for animals. Certified <br />weed free hay or straw mulch will also be applied at the rate of 2000 lbs/acre. Since the pit floor <br />will be used as an industrial yard, it will not be vegetated and gravel will be laid down over the <br />site floor.
