Inc. <br />Shift: Day/Night <br />Work Element: Phase 5 CQA/ LOB <br />Date: May 9, 2009 <br />Reporting Period: 05/03/09 through 05/09/09 <br />Days S M T W IT <br />F <br />S <br />Work Shifts D D D D D D <br /> L N N N NJ <br />= Day Shift N = Night Shift <br />Ambient Temperature Range: Lows: 33°F to 36°F (+/-) Highs 40's to 65° F <br />AMEC CQA Personnel On-site through the Reporting Period (See Attachment A). <br />AMES: No weather delays during the week. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: <br />I) EARTHWORK <br />A) Overburden to Stockpile <br />1) LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden excavation continued through the week between stations 33+00 (+/-) and 26+00 <br />(+/-), stations 15+50 (+/-) and 17+00 (+/-) and stations 5+00 (+/-) and 1+00 (+/-). Unsuitable <br />material was transported to the Joe Dandy Main Cresson backfill using four Cat 777, and 4 to 8 <br />40-Ton articulating haul trucks. A Komatsu 800 excavator and a CAT 875 track excavator <br />loaded the haulage equipment, aided by a Cat D-10 dozer and D-9 dozer (Double shift work). <br />Rockbreakers continued drilling the LOB Delivery Road cut between stations 31+00 (+/-) to <br />26+00 (+/-), stations 15+00 (+/-) to 17+00 (+/-), between stations 1+00 (+/-), and 2+00 (+/-). <br />Drilling was performed both right and left of centerline, from 0 to 40-feet. Shots were <br />performed in these areas throughout the week. Rockbreakers worked double shifts and used <br />from two to five Tamrock track mounted drill rigs. <br />2) LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />No work performed during the week. <br />Sheet 1 of 10 LOB Weekly Report WE 05.09.09.1)
