Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has finished its adequacy review for
Minor Revision No. 105 (MR-105), submitted by Bowie Resources LLC for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. The
Division does not have any adequacy review questions. The Division does have two comments, however:
1. Attached is the reclamation cost estimate for MR-105. The estimate is five tasks (a summary sheet
and tasks 331-334) and represents an increase in liability of $9,765.00. This estimate is
approximately $3,000.00 more than the estimate submitted by BRL due to increased equipment
costs in the Division's estimate. Please inform the Division in writing whether or not BRL
approves of the Division's reclamation cost estimate.
2. The Division anticipates that the USDA-Forest Service will provide comments on MR-105. When the
comments are received, the Division will forward them to BRL.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
,1 u_k- 4
tseph .
