COR-030000 Stormwater Management Plan
Z) Vehicle tracking ofsedrmenls A,
There are no paved roads in the mine areas; therefore no vehicle tracking of sediment
from disturbed areas onto paved roads will occur at this site. Ingress and egress to the
mines will be limited to the access roads.
-1) ffffAagement ofconlamhwledsoils
No known contaminated soils exist on site. If contaminated soils are encountered, all
activity shall be stopped until the situation can be assessed. Denison's Environmental
Coordinator will be contacted for further direction.
4) ,?oadingand unloading operations
Activities associated with this pollution source are ore delivery to storage location
adjacent to or on the WRA and potential spills during delivery and unloading of materials
and fuel at the shop locations. BMPs for ore storage include no long term storage and
frequent removal/shipment to the mill. No on-site processing will occur at this location.
Berms and temporary sediment basins will also be used to slow down or trap the runoff
from temporary ore stockpile areas. The procedures described in the SPCC Plan for this
site will be followed for all fuel transfer operations. BMPs selected to control this source
are personnel training, providing spill kits, and implementing the procedures described in
the SPCC Plan for this site will be followed for all fuel transfer operations.
S) Outdoor storage aaIP&ies (incladingLuildingmaterials, fertilizers, chemicals;
etc.)
The activities associated with this pollution source are storage of material in the mines or
at the shop locations and the potential for spills and leaks from these materials.
Chemicals are limited to maintenance needs (motor oil, anti-freeze, parts cleaners,
herbicides, dust suppressants, etc.) and are stored within the shop building(s). Any oils or
part cleaner wastes are removed from the mine site for offsite recycling or other
appropriate disposal. Fuel storage and procedures follow the requirements under 40 CFR
112 and are detailed in the Sunday Mines SPCC Plan (URS 2007).
6) Vehicle and equrpment maintenance andfueling
Activities associated with this pollution source are fueling and equipment repair. Routine
vehicle maintenance occurs on the site in the shop buildings. All wastes are removed
from the site for appropriate disposal. Fueling will be performed from delivery vehicles
and will follow the procedures described in the Sunday Mines SPCC Plan (URS 2007).
See Section 3.c) 4) of this SWMP for additional discussion.

Denison Mines (USA) Corp.
7
Sunday Mines SWMP
