On behalf of our client, Cemex, Inc., Banks and Gesso, LLC is submitting this
Technical Revision JR) Application for the Dowe Flats Mine, located in Boulder
County, Colorado. The Technical Revision was requested by the Division as a
result of a routine inspection conducted at the Dowe Flats Mine on November 13,
2008, and the subsequent inspection report generated on December 5, 2008. A
check for $216.00 is enclosed for the TR Application Fee.
• Permit Boundary / Permit Acreage
The current permit boundary is shown on the attached map (Figure 1:
Current Permit Boundary). The boundary is the 1994 Amendment
boundary minus three (3) acreage reductions requested by Cemex and
approved by DRMS. The three acreage reductions are:
Round Mountain Ranch: 13.04 acres
Longmont Water Treatment Plant: 84.61 acres
Poudre Valley Rural Electric Substation: 2.00 acres
The current permit acreage is 1,855.75 acres and this includes that portion
of M-93-041 south of State Highway 66 (i.e. the conveyor corridor to the
cement plant).

The Round Mountain Ranch acreage reduction was done in preparation
for sale of the property to Round Mountain Ranch. The sale never went
