MODIFICATION 05-2009
Form 2 - Public
Exhibit C AMSO Notice of Intent P-2008 - 046 Supplemental Information
Construction Details
NO CHANGE
Proposed Access Roads
A second access road is required for the Test Pad for safety and construction reasons. This access
road, shown on Figure A.2 as well as Figure 4-6 in Volume 1 of the POD, will be constructed the
same as the initial access road to the Test Pad: travel surface 22 feet wide, built up about two feet
above grade with base material, and surfaced to provide all weather travel. Since the original
ground surface is nearly level and the road will be built above grade, no ditches are proposed.
This second access road to the Test Pad will be 325 feet long outside of the security gate and,
considering outside slopes and the flare at the entrance on BLM Road 1019, will create 0.3 acres
of disturbance.
Proposed Drill Pads
The Test Pad must be enlarged to accommodate the surface facilities, a septic leach field in the
southwest corner, propane tanks in the northeast corner, and an incinerator on the east side. The
final configuration of the Test Pad is shown in Figure A.2 and in Figure 4-6 in Volume 1 of the
POD. The size of the Test Pad increases by 0.8 acres to 5.2 acres.
No other surface disturbances are proposed.
Waste Containment and Disposal
NO CHANGE
Reclamation
NO CHANGE
