•

•
9.3 General Personnel Accounting Procedures and Assembly Point
The SSHO will designate an assembly point at the work site and notify personnel of the
assembly point location. In the case of an emergency when all personnel are notified to
assemble, the SSHO will verify that AMSO employees, subcontractors, and visitors are
accounted for. If any employees are unaccounted for and cannot be located in a preliminary
search, the SSHO will immediately notify emergency services of the number of personnel
missing and their possible location(s).
9.4 Emergency Procedures
Tlie contractor's personnel must become familiar with AMSO's Emergency Response and Action
Plans and Procedures at the AMSO locations where they are working. Contractors will
participate in emergency drills when conducted on AMSO property and if there are questions
concerning evacuation or emergency response arrangements an AMSO representative must be
contacted for further explanation.
This section cannot cover all potential situations that may require emergency procedures. Check
with the local AMSO representative for site specific procedures in effect for a particular work
location.
First aid and Medical Facilities
First aid and emergency response capability is available at the site.
• A first aid station should be established on each project. First aid supplies, sufficient for
the number of personnel employed on the project, will be maintained. Unless otherwise
arranged, the project office trailer will be the first aid station.
• A qualified first aid attendant may be provided on larger projects and additional
emergency equipment will be available to qualified attendants.
Supervisors shall be certified in an approved First Aid/CPR course and carry the
appropriate certification. AMSO will sponsor such courses as the need arises.
