C7
7.0 JOB SITE CONTROL, DECONTAMINATION,
AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES
Site control measures, equipment and personnel decontamination procedures, and disposal
procedures are discussed below.
7.1 Site Control
Specific site control measures implemented at each job site may include identification badges,
site access control, site work zones, buddy system, and onsite communications.
7.1.1 Identification Badges
When required by the site mvner, or special conditions exist, identification badges will be worn
by all AMSO employees and subcontractors when performing work at job sites. The individual's
name and company affiliation will be displayed on each badge. The purpose of the identification
badges is to allow visitors (i.e., the public, nearby residents, and government representatives) to
identify the personnel working at the sites, and to aid in the identification of individuals in the
case of a serious injury. Laminated or otherwise protected business cards may be used as
identification badges.
7.1.2 Site Access Control
A record will be maintained of all AMSO employees and subcontractors and their equipment
accessing job sites. Employees and subcontractors will record the names of the individuals
accessing the sites and the date and time of site entrance and exit. In addition, the physical
condition and state (open/closed, locked/unlocked) of any gates used to access the site will also
be recorded. Gates are to be closed or left open in accordance with specific site procedures.
•
