Each road is described <br />below. <br />Access Road to HB Pad <br />The location of the access road to the HB Pad will be revised to alignment shown in <br />Modification 03-2009 Exhibit (Figures A. I and A.2. The road will extend approximately <br />630 feet from the existing BLM road to the drill pad. The disturbed area for the road will <br />be expanded to include a width of 6 feet on each side of the road for the construction of <br />drainage ditches; therefore, the width of the disturbed area along the road alignment will <br />be 26 feet. The drainage ditch constructed on each side of the road will be a iminimmn <br />depth of one foot below the rum ing surface. The disturbed area for the new BB Pad <br />access road will be approximately 0.4 acre; an increase of 0.1 acre from the area <br />proposed in the approved NOI. <br />Access Road to Pad MWP-2 <br />The length of the existing road to be upgraded has been changed from 1,155 feet to 1,450 <br />feet to provide access to the re-designed MWP-2 Pad. The disturbed area for the road <br />will be expanded to include a width of 6 feet on each side of the road for the construction <br />of drainage ditches; therefore, the width of the disturbed area along the road alignment <br />will be 26 feet. The drainage ditch constructed on each side of the road will be a <br />minimum depth of one foot below the r u ming surface. The disturbed area for the new <br />MWP-2 Pad access road will be approximately 0.9 acre; an increase of 0.3 acre from the <br />area proposed in the approved. NOI. Because the re-designed drill pad will not obstruct <br />future access along the existing two-track road to the north of the site, no by-pass road <br />will be required around the pad. Removal of the by-pass road results in a net increase of <br />0.1 acre from the total disturbed area specified in the approved NOI. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />2
