dragline, is loteted in the NIPA of Section 17 near the mining area. The site is <br />approximately 400 feet by 400 feet in size. The site will be reclaimed at the end of the <br />life of mine. See Exhibits 12-1 and 13-1 for location. <br />Coal Handling Structures. There will be a raw cool stockpile located in the facilities <br />area. Off-road trucks will haul coal from the pit to this stockpile. An end loader will <br />load highway trucks at this location for coal transport to the powerplant. The coal is <br />hauled to the powerplant for processing and use. A small employee's coal stoekpi le will <br />be loteted at the dragline erection site (see Exhibits 12-1 and 13-1). <br />Sugoort Facilities and Utility Installations. All support facilities used in connection <br />with the operation of the mine, including but not limited to, mine buildings, equipment <br />storage facilities, sheds, shops and other buildings will be designed, constructed or <br />reconstructed end loteted to minimize or control erosion end siltation, water pollution <br />and damage to public or private property. <br />Services which run through, pass over, or under the permit area, consisting o} power, <br />• sewage, water, end telephone lines, end wells will be protected against damage or <br />relocated to prevent or minimize the disruption of service. <br />Literature Cited <br /> <br />American Association of State Highway Officials.
