state Rea. <br />'The Cow Camp Urriergroiuid Reserves have been incorporated into • <br />the Seneca Logical Mining Unit Application submitted by <br />Peabody to the SLM in December, 1986. Total recoverable <br />undezgrou»3 reserves in the Cow Camp area are between <br />20,000,000 aryl 40,000,000 tons, depending on mining method <br />(cornentional or longwall). Seneca has abandoned plans for using <br />the Auger Area E as a portal location at the present time. <br />Backfillirrg of this area was initiated in June 1994. `The <br />temporary arxi now final reclamation of this area is described in <br />Tab 13, Page 13-46 and shown on Exhibit 13-2. <br />Reclamation operations will be undertaken as conter~oraneously <br />as possible with mining operations and will generally follow a <br />similar pattern of advance (see Exhibit 13-2). Final <br />reclamation grading is scheduled for the year 2008. <br />It is anticipated that a permit renewal application will be ' • <br />submitted each five years, prior to the expiration date of the <br />permit currently in effect.
