A print of that spreadsheet is included. <br />The new costs assume all 500 allowable acres will eventually be disturbed (300 acres in Amendment 3 and 200 acres <br />of current disturbance in pre-Amendment 3 land). That probably won't happen because of the spotty nature of the <br />sand deposits, but because it cannot be determined beforehand exactly where mining will occur all that can be done <br />is assume it eventually will all be affected land. Adjustments to this aspect can be taken into account in the future <br />through bond releases once various portions are completed and it is known what land will not be disturbed. Thus, all <br />conceivable disturbance will now be covered by bond. It also assumes that bonding will be released on the <br />undisturbed acreage recently inspected as no additional disturbance will occur in those areas. <br />This results in an increase in the bond amount over what was included previously. The current bond only covers 250 <br />acres rather than 500 acres. The bond did not double because the current bond already included the 150 acre Major <br />Disturbance category. So most of the increase was due to the addition of essentially 100 acres of Minor Disturbance, <br />plus some adjustments in per unit costs. <br />Please note that the Division add-ons are not included in these calculations. You will need to add those to come up <br />with the final bonding amount. This should conclude the information needed for Technical Revision 04. Once this <br />bonding process is concluded, all future adjustments to the bonding should be limited to releases of reclaimed land, <br />releases of land that are known where no disturbance will occur, and any cost adjustments.
