These species cannot be purchased from seed. If they are preferred within the first <br />5 years plugs can be purchased and transplanted. It is recommended that Coyote willow <br />pole cuttings be planted around edge of pond to add stability to the shoreline as well as <br />increase the wildlife habitat value. <br />Appropriate herbicides (following the label in its entirety) should be applied during the <br />first growing season specifically during the spring and early summer in order to help <br />control weeds. Livestock grazing should be excluded for a minimum of one full growing <br />season.
