Disturbed areas will be revegetated with BLM Native Seed Mix No. 2, shown in the table <br />provided in section 7A of the application form. Seed will be broadcast due to the small <br />size and irregular configuration of the disturbed area and the presence of the security fence <br />enclosure. Seed will be distributed uniformly over the disturbed area with a tractor or <br />ATV mounted broadcast seeder equipped with an auger/agitator to keep different size or <br />weight seeds evenly mixed in the seed box. For small areas, a hand broadcast seeder may <br />be used. Broadcast application rates will be twice that of the drill seeding rates shown in <br />the above seed mix table, and the seed will be covered by harrowing or raking. Seeding <br />will occur in the fall with the early spring serving as an alternate should fall seeding not be <br />completed. <br />13
