The <br />geomembrane was found to be acceptable for Drain Cover Fill placement. Anchor trench <br />backfilling was performed and completed. <br />Lone Star Personnel: Equipment Used: <br />1-Foreman 1- Double fusion welder, 1-Extrusion Welder <br />1-Seamer/Operator 2 Generators, 1 Tensiometer <br />4- Laborers <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />Field Observation Summary <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />AMEC observed the remediation of underground working 2040. <br />Underground working 2030 was backfilled during excavation in the cut area for safety. <br />Underground working 2015 (Tornado Shaft) backfill was completed to within 30-feet of the existing <br />ground surface. <br />Concrete testing for the Conveyor Transfer Station #5, retaining wall footing and gravity take up structure <br />station 0+00: Three test specimens were cast for compressive strength. <br />Laboratory Testing Summary <br />Laboratory testing continues (Gradations, Atterberg Limit, and Moisture-Density Relationships) for <br />previously sampled materials, throughout the week. <br />Concrete cylinders have been delivered to an off site-testing laboratory for compressive strength testing. <br />GENERAL PROJECT ITEMS <br />Summary of Concerns: <br />No Concerns <br />Summary of Planning Items: <br />Continue blasting and transporting shot overburden to the Joe Dandy Main Cresson backfill. <br />Summary of Non-conformances: <br />None Issued <br />Summary of Meetings and Discussions: <br />CC& V. <br />CC&V held a Weekly Construction meeting on April 28, 2009.
