HUMIDITY CELL TESTING _
The following humidit cell tests will be performed:
Material Crush Test T e
South Cresson 1" Large. 4 k
South Cresson W Standard 1 k
South Cresson #200 Sobek
South Cresson + Squaw Gulch '/4" Standard 1 k
South Cresson + Cresson Pie '/" Standard 1 k

The tests will be conducted using the same protocol as the current HCT tests.
NEUTRALIZATION TESTS
Preparation of reagents
ARD Water
1
A total of four water samples shall be prepared for testing, as follows:
-
9

_
1. Volcanic Sample: _I F I 1 1 1
a. Combine 400 ml from two consecutive weekly flushes from each of the following HCTs: HC-23, HC-24, HC-26,
L HC-35, for a total sample size of 3200 ml. In the event that one or more HCTs produce less than 400 ml,
make up the sample volume with liquor from the excess of the other flush volumes.
b. Take a 250 ml aliquot of the sample (leaving 2,950 mL) and test for pH, conductivity, ORP, sulfate, acidity, alkalinity, TDS, Cl,
HCO3, Al, Sb, As, Ba, Be, Bi, B, Cd, C_a, Cr, Co, Cu, Fe, Pb, Li, Mg, Mn, Hg, Mo, Ni, P04, K, Se, SiO2,
Ag_, Na, Sr, Te, TI, Th, Sn, Ti, U, V, Zn, Zr.
c. Store the sample unpreserved at 40C under nitrogen in an airtight opaque glass bottle until use.
2. Granitic Sample:
a. Combine 400 ml from two consecutive weekly flushes from each of the following HCTs: HC-28, HC-29, HC-30, HC-31,
for a total sample size of 3200 ml. In the event that one or more HCTs produce less than 400 ml, make up the sample
volume with liquor from the excess of the other flush volumes.
b. Ta ke a 250 ml aliquot of the sample (leaving 2,950 mL) and test for pH, conductivity, ORP, sulfate, acidity, alkalinity, TDS, Cl,
N63-N, HCO3, Al, Sb, As, Ba, Be, Bi, B, Cd, Ca, Cr, Co, Cu, Fe, Pb, Li, Mg, Mn, Hg, Mo, Ni, P04, K, Se, Si O2,
Ag, Na, Sr, Te, TI, Th, Sn, Ti, U, V, Zn, Zr.
c. Store the sample unpreserved at 41C under nitrogen in an airtight opaque glass bottle until use.
3. Combined Sample:
a. Combine 800 ml from
two consecutive weekly flushes from each of HC-36 and HC-37, for a total sample size of 3200 ml
_
.
In the event that one or more HCTs produce less than 800 ml, make up the volume with the excess from other flush volumes.
b. Take a 250 ml aliquot of the sample (leaving 2,950 mL) and test for pH, conductivity, ORP, sulfate, acidity, alkalinity, TDS, CI,
N03-N, HCO3, Al, Sb, As, Ba, Be, Bi, B, Cd, Ca, Cr, Co, Cu, Fe, Pb, Li, Mg, Mn, Hg, Mo, Ni, P04, K, Se, SiO2,
Ag, Na, Sr, Te, TI, Th, Sn, Ti, U, V, Zn, Zr.
