EARTHWORKS <br />A. Clear and Grubbing <br />1. VLF <br />Ames continued clearing and grubbing activities earlier in the week, below the East <br />Perimeter Access Road. Pioneer roads are constructed for access. Ames used one CAT <br />345 track excavator to consolidate grubbed material for loading. Work has advanced <br />down slope to from stations A8+00 (+/-) to H4+00 (+/-) and E20+00 (+/-) to E14+00 <br />(+/-). Work has concentrated within the southeast area of the pad. <br />2. VLF, PSSA Haul Road <br />Work is complete from station K10+00 (+/-) to K4+50 (+/-). <br />3. Sediment Collection Pond <br />Work is complete. <br />B. Stripping <br />1. VLF <br />South approximately 50 to 150-feet from centerline of the North Crest PSSA Road <br />between stations F10+00 (+/-) and 178+00 (+/-) topsoil has been stockpiled for future <br />removal. The existing area is stripped of all unsuitable material in preparation for the <br />continuation of the VLF structural fill. <br />2.
