Forest Queen Ore Bin or Sorting House
The Forest Queen Mine (5TL2602) is located on a northeast trending spur of Ironclad Hill and
adjacent to CC&V's Coblentz exploration building. Features include a hlacksnuth shop, two
• hoist houses, an ore bin or ore sorting house and a collapsed headframe. The site is organized
into t vo complexes, with waste rock between those complexes. The ore bin or sorting house is
located at the base of the waste rock, nearly equidistant from both mine complexes. This sorting
house appears to he the hest structural candidate for relocation of these features. The site was
fully Surveys by Paragon Archaeological Consultants.
This site may he impacted by the proposed East Cresson Mine (Wild horse Extension).
F?
I ow,t Qucen Sonim-, lioww
•
