The pre-mine site is a highly disturbed area dominated by
pinyon/juniper/sage species with undergrowth of grasses and forbs. As seen in the aerial
photographic base maps and on numerous photographs taken in the area, at least 40% of the
ground is barren rock or established roads and trails. Based upon this reconnaissance of the area
it is recommended that the post-mining vegetation standard include more grasses, forbs and
shrubs with a similar 40% cover.
Last Chance Mine - April 2009 E - 4
