EXHIBIT D
RECLAMATION PLAN
CBC GRAVEL PIT
Production of sand and gravel at CBC Gravel Pit will commence upon issuance of permit
and continue until the supply of materials is exhausted or it becomes financially
unfeasible to mine. Estimated completion date of mining is March 2019. Final
reclamation of the site will be within two (2) years of last mining. This is to allow for
proper weather/environmental conditions favorable to the seeding of grass.
The overburden at the site consists of loose topsoil ranging in depth from nothing (bare
rock showing) to approximately three (3) feet in depth. This topsoil will be removed by
heavy equipment and stored in open piles at the edge of the site. It is the intent of the
operator to remove, segregate and protect all of the available topsoil at the site for future
reclamation use.
The underlying sandstone rock will be removed with heavy equipment and crushed on
site to a size suitable for roadways. The crushed and uncrushed dug rock will be stored on
site until needed or sold. It is presumed that the sought after sandstone rock lies roughly
ten (10) feet in depth. The quality, quantity and cost to mine this product will determine
volume of rock produced and stockpiled. These volumes will vary depending on
demand.
No more than fifty percent (50%) of the total land in this permit will be in production at
one time. The remaining land will be in its pre-mine (current) state, or in the process of
reclamation and reseeding. All the land in the permit has the potential to produce the
sought after sand and gravel, and so will be fully involved in the operation. Final
reclamation of the affected land will be two (2) years after concluding mining.
As shown on the accompanying maps (assessors GIS and survey) there are no buildings,
permanent creeks (waterways) oil or gas wells (or lines), or water wells within two
hundred (200) feet of the mine. There is a power line that borders Dolores County Road
2, east of the permit. With a buffer of near one hundred (100) feet from the edge of the
operation this line is in no danger from the mining operation. There is only one other
landowner and the mineral right owners within two hundred (200) feet of the site. The
immediate land surrounding the CBCI Gravel Pit is owned by the same persons as own
interest in the mine itself.
Access to the site will be from Dolores County Road C and across land owned by David
and Linda Cressler. There are no other recoded easements affecting the site or
surrounding land.
