EXHIBIT C
CBCI GRAVEL
MINING PLAN FOR CBC GRAVEL PIT
CBCI Gravel intends to conduct an open pit sand/gravel mining operation on the property
indicated in this application. The site consists of 8.59 acres of land owned by David and
Linda Cressler and accessed off of Dolores County Road C.
Overburden (topsoil) will be removed from the underlying sandstone rock. This topsoil
ranges in depth from none (surface rock) up to approximately three feet in depth. The
topsoil will be pushed away from the rock via heavy equipment to the edges of the
subject property where it will be stored until needed for reclamation of the site.
The underlying sandstone rock is approximately ten (10) feet in depth and will be
removed with heavy equipment and then broken into pieces manageable for the rock
crusher. The rock will be crushed on site and will be used primarily for roadways and
building sites.
The operation of the CBC Gravel pit will be on an as needed and ongoing basis with
product being sold both to private individuals and public entities.
Production of sand and/or gravel will begin immediately upon issuance of permit and
continued on the subject property until the product is exhausted or the mine proves
unprofitable at which time it will be reclaimed to agricultural grazing land. The
approximate date of completion is March 2019.
