Mr. Allen Sorenson - DRMS 3/5/2009

3 of 3
cementated tails, which as clarified in this TR request, MRV would like to include
uncemented tails, as presented to the EPA.
In all, MRV posits that the emplacement of tailings from the Gold Hill Mill, into the Cash
Mine and other voids, will be a net benefit to the environment through closure and
stabilization of historic and current mine workings, reduction of oxidation potential for
mineralized veins exposed in mine workings, and through the addition of inert,
neutralizing materials into the already impaired ground water.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. If the Division has additional concerns,
please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
MOUNT ROYALE VENTURES, LLC

By Matt Collins
General Manager - Front Range Gold Project
Attachments:
Letter from the EPA - Region 8 to MRV, dated January 07, 2008
Application to the EPA - Region 8 by MRV dated December 4, 2007
o "Cash Mine Permit Revision Hydrogeology", Adrian Brown, Sept. 11,
2006
o "Water Analysis - Cash Mine- Mine Pool", MRV, Dec. 4, 2007
o "Description and Chemical Analysis of Proposed Injectate", MRV,
Dec. 4, 2007
o "Cash Mine Comprehensive Water Monitoring Plan", A.
