<br />ameco <br />Earth & Environmental <br />C. Overburden Rock to Stockpile <br />1. LOB Pad <br />Earlier in the week, a Komatsu 800 excavator was used in the LOB Pad area for <br />removal of all shot rock for transport to the Joe Dandy haul road (stockpile). <br />Transport to the stockpile using four Cat 777 haul trucks. <br />Rockbreakers: Established a drill pattern and drilling of shot holes for blasting on <br />Friday. 6 track drill rigs were used. <br />2. LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden rock from Stations 28+00 (+/-) to 32+50(+/-) and from Stations <br />2+00(+/-) to 4+00(+/-) was transported to the Joe Dandy haul road (stockpile) <br />using 4 Cat 777 Haul Trucks a Komatsu 800 excavator aided by a Cat D-10 <br />dozer. (Double shift work) <br />Rockbreakers continue drilling the LOB Delivery Road cut between Stations <br />28+00 to 32+50 for blasting. Blasting was scheduled most every day this week. <br />3. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />No overburden rock was transported to Joe Dandy haul road (stockpile). <br />D. Cut to Fill <br />1. LOB Pad <br />No work performed during the week. <br />2. LOB Delivery Road <br />Shot overburden from Stations 32+50(+/-) to 30+00(+/-) was placed between <br />Stations 35+00(+/-) to 37+50(+/-). A Cat D10 dozer was used for the fill <br />placement and compaction by method specification was performed using a <br />smooth drum vibratory roller. <br />3. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />Cut from conveyor access road 4 to the fill at conveyor transfer station No.6 was <br />observed on Monday. Three feet of select fill was placed in lifts and compacted <br />over the existing 2-feet of Phase IV of VLF overliner. AMES Continues rough cut <br />of conveyor access road 3 to fill at conveyor transfer stations No. 5 and 6. <br />E. Subgrade Preparation <br />1. LOB Pad <br />No work performed during the week. <br />F. SLF Processing (Material is being generated/processed for the LOB and the VLF) <br />The SLF clay plant, located in SGOSA (Squaw Gulch Overburden Storage Area) Dump 5 <br />is in the process of being dismantled.
