ame <br />Earth S Environmental <br />GENERAL PROJECT ITEMS <br />Summary of Concerns: <br />No Concerns <br />Summary of Planning Items: <br />Processed clay sampling is limited; a new plant will arrive during March 21St <br />LLDPE Geomembrane supplier has delivered 2 transports of the 80 and 100 mil LLDPE liner. <br />Abandoned mine working remediation in the LOB Pad area and LOB/Delivery Road. <br />Abandon mine workings within the planned conveyor alignment to the LOB/Pad. <br />Summary of Non-conformances: <br />None Issued <br />Summary of Meetings and Discussions: <br />CC& V.• <br />CC&V held a Weekly Contractors' meeting on March 10, 2009. Items discussed included Safety, <br />Environmental, Schedule, QC documentation, and CQA. <br />Other Items discussed were to forward on a weekly basis to CC&V a spread sheet to include all laboratory <br />test results as they are completed and to increase the permeability testing to 4-samples per week (in <br />progress). Additionally, a daily report shows a man-hour budget including daily hours, % man-hour <br />budget complete, VS man-hour budget and man-hours remaining. This is designed to be a tracking tool for <br />AMEC and CC&V, (now in progress). <br />Ames Construction: <br />Daily safety meetings are performed prior to each shift. These have been used to discuss work areas, <br />procedures, testing requirements, etc. with the Ames supervisors and equipment operators. Stressing the <br />use of chocks on all vehicles and equipment. <br />A mandatory speed limit of 10-mph within the 5-way. <br />AMEC and Ames discussed daily work activities during the week and work procedures for fill placement. <br />Continue discussions on oversize rock. Ames is removing oversize from structural VLF fill. <br />AMEC. <br />E-mail correspondence to John Lupo regarding the abandon mine workings within the conveyor alignment <br />and LOB/Delivery Road.
