The work conducted for this project included:
1. field mapping of the surficial geology,
2. an inventory of springy in the area,
3. sampling and mapping of phreatophytes which indicate
subirrigation,
4• field mapping of current and historic irrigation practices, and
5. an evaluation of the irrigation potential of the area.
Field work for this project was conducted on April 30, May 1, and June 23,
1982. Refer to Figure 1 and Plates I and II for locatior. of the study area
and results of the field investigatior.
