Box 1430 <br />Palisade, CO 81526 <br />RE: Service Road Culvert <br />Dear Mr. Jamison: <br />4 miles E. of Palisade on I.70 <br />Palisade, Colorado 87526 <br />September 20, 2001 <br />Xcel Energy, Inc. has been recently advised that structures comprising your Overland <br />Conveyor System aze scheduled to be dismantled prior to December 31, 2001. <br />• <br />Our service road goes over a lazge diameter culvert that housed the Overland Conveyor. . <br />We would like to have this culvert remain in place because is provides a favorable grade <br />for our service road and removal of the culvert would cause a disruption in our coal <br />deliveries. <br />Xcel Energy agrees to assume responsibility for future maintenance of the culvert after <br />Powderhom is fully released from its DMG Permit.
