M-1993-030
Prepared: 13 March 2009
Summary:
We operated mechanized equipment on Crystaljack mining properties from 15 May
through 30 May in recovery of smoky quartz, fluorite, goethite, and other crystallized
minerals. During this time, the equipment was idle 2 days for maintenance and on
Sundays. The access road was constructed into the Free Hawk and a gate was installed.
Work began on the C & J No. 1 where one prospect was opened and reclaimed. A second
prospect was opened and reclaimed on the Free Hawk. Most work consisted of
continuing the excavation at Site 7 on the Two Point. All sites on Crystaljack which were
opened, were closed, recontoured and reseeded.
Map Depicting Operations:
Attached are maps showing the ten claims covered under this permit, permit M-1993-
030. The maps show past excavations which have been reclaimed (green), currently open
dig sites (shaded orange) and proposed dig sites (either a blue button or a rectangle).
Current Disturbances (2008):
A primitive road for walking in equipment was constructed for access to the Free Hawk
and gated. Prospect 25 was opened for approximately 1,200 square feet ( 0.03 acre) on
the Free Hawk, and prospect 23 was opened for approximately 2,000 square feet (0.05)
acre on the C & J No. 1. Neither prospect showed economic mineralization and both were
closed, recontoured, and reseeded. Site 7 on the Two Point was opened an additional
6,000 square feet (0.13 acre) then closed, recontoured and reseeded. This site will be
finished during 2009. No sites are currently open on Crystaljack properties except a
prospect, Site 5 (Site E) on Qui-Buc No. 1.
Reclamation Summarv (Includes 2008 Reclamation):
Since this project began in 1993, approximately 4.37 acres have been excavated and
reclaimed. All newly reclaimed sites have been reseeded the same season. These sites are
then planted with trees the following season. Only Site 5 (Site E) on Qui-Buc No. 1 and
Sites 7 and 5 on the Two Point Mine are less than 80 percent growth.
