The site is reached by traveling 1.5 miles west on La Plata County Road loo, off of
State Highway 140, then turning north on an unnamed private gravel road
continuing 0.5 miles then turning to the west sharply and dropping into the
valley with the La Plata River drainage and crossing the river to the mine site.
