D. Limitation of Area,. The County shall confine its operation to the Owner's Mined <br />Land Reclamation Permit area, existing at the time this Lease is executed and as <br />may be modified by the grant of additional permits, which shall be marked by the <br />Owner by site posts as described below, upon which the County shall be entitled <br />to rely. <br />E. Overburden. All topsoil or other overburden removed in the mining and <br />extraction operations shall remain on the site for future reclamation use. All <br />. <br />gravel extracted and awaiting removal from the premises shall be stored on the <br />site, but shall not cover the topsoil or overburden. The top six inches of soil in <br />any portion of the affected area, not disturbed by previous operations, will be <br />removed and stockpiled prior to any disturbance by the County's operations. Any <br />additional excess overburden will also be removed and stockpiled in piles <br />separate from the top six inches of overburden. <br />F. Slopes, Contours. All operations and final contours shall be in accord with the <br />specifications described in the applicable Mined Land Reclamation Permit. <br />G. Trash and Debris. All asphalt, asphalt mix, and trash created by the County (or <br />its contractors) will be removed from the affected area at the termination of the <br />Lease. <br />H. Extension to Remove Stockpiled Material. Upon termination, this Lease shall be <br />extended beyond the lease term for the limited purpose of allowing the County <br />to remove stockpiled materials that were mined prior to the expiration date of the <br />Lease, all of which shall be removed within 120 days after the expiration-of the <br />term of the Lease. <br />I. Reclamation. Reclamation of the pit surrounding any disturbed area shall be the <br />responsibility and expense of the County and shall be completed pursuant to.the <br />Owner's Mined and Reclamation Permit. <br />J. Storm Water. The County shall reasonably defend the site from storm water <br />runoff originating from property other than the Owner's by reasonable means, <br />such as berms and dikes and maintenance of the same. <br />K. Records. The County shall keep an accurate record. of all materials removed from <br />the Leased Premises. The Owner shall have the privilege of examining the <br />County's records relating to the Leased Premises during normal business hours. <br />L. Su1:ace Rights. The County has the right to clear brush and undergrowth from <br />such portions of the Leased Premises as may be reasonably necessary to explore <br />for material or to locate pits, quarries, and stockpile areas. <br />M. Damage to Livestock, Chops, and Improvements. The County shall repair any <br />damage done to water wells, drinking troughs, storage tanks, and other similar
