M-2008-080-Journey Ventures, LLC - Journey Ventures Pit - 112(c) Application Preliminary Adequacy Review Response <br />March 5, 2009 <br />-5- <br />The recharge structures were inadvertently described as ditches/ponds. Only ditches will be <br />installed as recharge structures. An updated Exhibit C Mining Plan Map is attached that shows <br />the general locations, and dimensions/specification of the recharge structures. All recharge <br />ditches will be within the permit boundary. The recharge ditches will typically be installed around <br />the perimeter of a phase or phases such that the ditches convey water being pumped from the <br />pit back to the alluvial aquifer. The wildlife survey identified jurisdictional wetlands within the proposed permit boundary.
