EARTHWORKS <br />A. Clear and Grubbing <br />1. LOB Pad <br />• The LOB Pad area was largely completed by the end of the previous week. <br />Minor clean-up work and removal remained to be completed by 2/13 around <br />the mine working #19 and #20 located on the North side of the pad <br />approximately 125-150 feet left of centerline at Station 31+70. This work <br />was still pending the end of week ending 2/13. <br />2. LOB/Delivery Road <br />• The delivery road was largely cleared and grubbed by the end of the week. <br />A small area remained 34+50 to 35+50 <br />B. Stripping <br />1. LOB Pad <br />• Ames started loading and removal of topsoil from within the LOB Pad limit. <br />The area was largely stripped by 2/13. Minor cleanup of topsoil remained at <br />the end of the week. Ames worked from Station 23+00 to 25+00, right of <br />the centerline to the side slope during the week. <br />2. LOB/Delivery Road <br />• Ames continued to remove topsoil from the LOB between Sta. 23+00 and <br />Sta. 25+00. The topsoil was hauled and placed in the upper stockpile. <br />Intermittent problems occurred with over stripping and hauling of suitable <br />material mixed with topsoil. <br />Sheet 1 of 8 <br />LOB Weekly Report WE 02.13.09
