CQA ACTIVITIES:
SUMMARY:
The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction
activities of the contractor, performed visual inspections and surveillance of Ames Activities.
Construction observations and surveillance activities consisted of the following:
• Performed site continuously throughout the work periods to observe contractor activities.
• Observed the removal and placement of top soil in the LOB areas.
• No samples of any materials or densities were taken this week.
• Al Frias with AMEC Earth and Environmental attended the weekly construction meeting.
No night shift work was performed during the week.
No work was performed on Saturday, January 24. Currently no work activities are planned for Saturdays
but Ames has indicated that Saturday will be used as a make up day in the event of delay or stoppage
during the current planned work periods Monday to Friday.
