Subsequent to
the inspection, our office received a certification of compietion letter, "As-Constructed" drawings
and other completion documents from your engineer in accordance with Rule 10 of the State of
Colorado's "Rules and Regulations for Dam Safety and Dam Construction". Based on a review
of the aforementioned documents and the results of the final construction inspection, the
construction of the seepwater pipeline through the left abutment area of the existing Eagle park
Reservoir Dam is considered to have been satisfactorily completed and generally constructed in
accordance with the approved plans and specifications. Therefore, this construction project is
accepted for full use and the dam and reservoir can be used for water storage, whenever water is
legally and physically available.
The completion of this project did not enlarge or decrease the size of the dam and reservoir.
According to our records, Eagle Park Reservoir Dam has a maximum dam height of 13 5 feet and
a dam crest length of approximately 1,840 feet. The reservoir storage capacity at the maximum
normal water surface is estimated to be 3,148 acre-feet.
•
