The assistance of Mr. Michael Savage (Savage & Savage Environmental, <br />Windsor, CO) was very helpful and greatly appreciated. I have enclosed a copy of the inspection <br />report for your records. <br />During the inspection, the following violations were noted and need to be brought to your attention: <br />Violations <br />No discharge permit violations were noted during the inspection. <br />Permit Issues <br />These items may assist the Division during the next discharge permit renewal or to provide clarification <br />for an amendment to the current permit. During the inspection, the following items were noted and <br />discussed: <br />1. Oakridge Energy, Inc. has formally requested termination of their industrial wastewater <br />discharge permit for the Carbon Junction Mine (COG450042). See attached correspondence; <br />letter to Loretta Houk (1NQCD-Permits-13enver) from Mike Savage (Savage & Savage <br />Environmental, Windsor, CO) dated October 24, 2008 annd.
