Permit Exhibit Review: <br />Rule 6: <br />The application has an Exhibit T as required under Rule 6.1.4. <br />Per Rule 6.2.1(2)0) all maps must be prepared and signed by a registered land surveyor, professional engineer, <br />or other qualified person. All maps supplied do not have the required signatures of the person who prepared <br />them. Please provide two sets of signed maps with any modifications required under this review. <br />Rule 6.4 -112d DMO Exhibits <br />Exhibit A, Legal Description appears to be adequate. <br />Exhibit B, Index Map appears to be adequate except for signature requirement. <br />Exhibit C, Pre-Mining Map <br />6.4.3 (a), addressed on Map A-1, <br />(b), San Miguel Power is noted within the Mine Plan as having a power line "which crosses and runs <br />NW to SE adjacent to the property". Further clarification is requested below, but please note that if the <br />power lines are within or cross the permit boundaries they are required on Map C-1, <br />(c), appears to be adequate, <br />(d), appears to be adequate for the pit area, a map of the office / ore bin area of the same detail as Map <br />C-2 is requested below, <br />(e), appears to be adequately addressed in Exhibit J, <br />(f), appears to be addressed in Exhibit G, <br />(g), staff notes references to other portals, shafts, and the power lines. Please clarify and note on Map C- <br />2 the portals referenced on Maps C-1 and F. <br />(h), addressed in Exhibit I. <br />Exhibit D, Mining Plan <br />Rule 6.4.4 <br />In general the requirements of Rule 6.4.4 appear to be addressed in the Introduction and narration of the Mine <br />Plan. There are specific issues that need to be clarified however. <br />Section 2, Surface Mining: <br />The mine plan notes extraction of rock by an excavator. If the rock is too hard for the excavator will explosives <br />be used? If so please provide the required information for Rule 6.4.4(1). <br />The mine plan notes that much of the reclamation will be concurrent to mining. However the proposed <br />disturbance area appears not to be sufficient to allow room for truck turn arounds and loading. Given that only <br />2
