Box 1598 <br />Fairplay, Colorado 80440 <br />RE: Requested Clarification Comments for Temporary Site Use and Possible <br />Traffic Levels for the Proposed CUP and Rezoning Applications for the Elk <br />Mountain Cattle Company Chaparral Meadows Pit - DRM&S # M-1984-101 TR2. <br />Located in the N/2 of section 18, T12S, R74W; Park County Colorado, an active <br />66.80 acre Permit Area <br />Dear Planning and BOCC Members: <br />Please find below clarifications and comments concerning the proposed temporary site <br />operating hours, use levels and possible traffic impact levels for the abovementioned <br />Chaparral Meadows Pit site. <br />As stated in previously submitted response comments for this CUP Application to <br />the Planning Office; "The applicant would provide any and all required relocation <br />documents, CDPE SW Permits, SW Plans and Operation Manuals required by the County <br />for any asphalt and/or concrete plant and other equipment to be mobilized temporally to <br />the site for future contracted work." Prior to mobilization of any such equipment the <br />BOCC would be informed that a possible large volume (Medium and/or High Level) <br />contract may be serviced at the site (bid from the site). At that time the anticipated <br />project volumes and truck traffic estimates can be submitted along with the other required <br />documentation required by the County through the Planning Office. <br />The Applicant has contacted The Park County Road and Bridge Department <br />Director concerning this. application and discussed possible required gate, and/or access <br />improvements. Also discussed were possible road maintenance agreements, grading and <br />dust abatement. The R&B Director responded that the gate is wide enough as described <br />but that he would be able to make further comments at the County Hearings and would
