MCC proposes to use 4X4 pick-up trucks («~heeled or tracked), ATV's snowcats.. <br />and snowmobiles for primary access to the sites during the appropriate seasons. Heavy <br />equipment includuig. but not 1uluted to; bulldozers, backhoes; and boom trucks will be <br />utilized to move and maintain blo«Ter unts. <br />Ol~TGOING MONITORING ACTNITIES <br />MCC proposes to access all e~I7austing blo«~ers for monitoring and sampling on a <br />daily basis. At times; multiple trips per day ~~,~ill be necessary to maintain operation of <br />blo«%er units. Access is required year round. <br />MCC proposes to use 4X4 pickup trucks (t',%heeled or tracked). ATV's sno~~~cats; <br />and sno~~,~mobiles for primacy access to the sites. Heavy equipment including, but not <br />limited to; bulldozers, backhoes; and maintainers «-ill be utilized to maintain roadwa}%s to <br />the blower units. MCC may plo`~% sno~~~ from the project roads as necessar}~ to access the <br />MDW's during «-inter months in accordance «~ith Road Use Perniit (RUP). Stipulations <br />on snow plo«-ing as defined in the Decision Notice and RUP ~~,-i11 be follo~ve.d. <br />2008 SPECIAL ACTIVITIES <br />Due to the unpredictable nature of mining, pernutting, and the ui~io«~n <br />conditions that are frequently encountered as mining progresses it is lilke.ly that some <br />event «~ill occur that may require. adjustments and modifications to this Annual Operating <br />Plan to address these special un-planned issues and developments. <br />ACCIDENTAL IGNITION E1\~IERGENCY PLA1~T <br />MCC requests that the previous plan to prevent accidental ignitions during any <br />phase of the project;. approved b}~ the USES in 2002 remain in place for 2008. MCC <br />understands that they will be notified by the USFS of any fire restrictions during the field <br />season. <br />CONTRACTORS <br />MCC is providing a list of primacy and secondary contractors for the reclamation <br />project. The contractors have been selected based on thee- ability to meet MCC and USFS <br />standards; cost; and availability. MCC reser~ es the right to change contractors at any <br />time during the project.
