RECLAMATION VISUAL INSPECTION FORM <br />Date: 9/26/2008 Site/Map #: RDH #1 <br />Inspected By: Scott Wanstedt <br />Location: Rock Dust Hole #1 <br />Year Reclaimed: 2001 Seed Mix: Small/ Linear Mix plus additions <br />Dominant Vegetation: (include grasses, forbs, shrubs, warm season grasses, etc. by spp.) <br />See Notes <br />Erosion/Site Stabilization: Stable <br />Notes: Grasses are dominated by crested, desert, and Siberian wheatgrasses. Western WG and <br />Russian wildrye are also relatively abundant but not predominating. Also of note is canby <br />bluegrass and possibly sheep fescue as understory grass species. Tall and bluebunch WG are also <br />present but in minor amounts. Salina WR may be present but difficult to distinguish from <br />Russian WR at the current mature growth stage. <br />Forbes/half shrubs were essentially nonexistent. One fringed sage and one alfalfa plant were <br />observed. <br />Shrub establishment is excellent. Big sagebrush and fourwing saltbush are the dominant species. <br />Other abundant shrub species are shadscale, black greasewood, and rabbitbrush. Shrub density is <br />very high. <br />Weed problems are essentially nonexistent with few cheatgrass present. <br />Recommendations: None
