site. It appears that the operator conducted a well survey and doclullented at least 13 wells adjacent to the mine <br />site. The operator committed to obtaining the proper agreements Nwith the well owners six months prior to <br />commencement of mining. Also the operator stated that they had installed 30 monitoring wells around the site <br />and committed to collecting monthly water level measurements for live quarters prior to mining to establish <br />baseline water levels. The operator is reminded that they also agreed to submit this baseline ground water level <br />report to the Division. <br />Given the above information, the operator is reminded that prior to mining. they will need to submit the <br />appropriate agreements with well owners within 600 feet of the permit area and evidence that these agreements <br />are approved by the DWR. Also, the operator will need to obtain an approved substitute water supply plan and <br />a well permit.
