•

4.0 RARE, THREATENED, AND ENDANGERED PLANT SPECIES INVENTORY
According to the Colorado Natural Heritage Program, no plant species of concern have been found
in the past in the immediate project area. As a result of intensive site-specific field efforts, no rare,
threatened or endangered plant species were found on or near the 13,605-acre vegetation study area.
All plant species observed during field survey by Cedar Creek in 2005 were identified and cross-
referenced with the Colorado Rare Plant Field Guide. A list of all plant species documented during site-
specific search efforts is provided as Table V1.
The single rare species known from the project area, the western yellowbelly racer (a snake), was
routinely observed in the Bottomland Community by Cedar Creek biologists. It did not present with
typical rarity, therefore, it is either locally abundant, or errantly listed as a rare species.
CIEImAIR CRMIEK ASS®CIIATT5, INC.
Page 44 2005 Collom Vegetation Survey
