2.05.3 Operation Plan - Permit Area <br />(162) Production Methods and Operation Description <br />Exhibit C is a Mine Layout Map, which depicts the planned development. <br />The protective barriers are also indicated in this Exhibit. <br />{chile there are multiple coal beds on the lease tract, Blue Ribbon Coal <br />Company only controls the uppermost "E" bed. <br />Mining is currently going on the federal coal according to the regulations <br />of Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board reclamation permit Number 76-6-UG/C for the <br />Blue Ribbon Mine. It produces coal from the "E" seam which has an average thickness <br />of six feet and has an analysis as follows: <br />Ash 7.OX <br />. Sulfur .SX <br />Volatile Matter 36.SX <br />Fixed Carbon 56X <br />Btu 12,300 <br />Grindability 54 <br />Ash Fusion Temperature 2330°F <br />The Blue Ribbon Mine is located on a bench that was excavated to provide <br />safe access for the working facility. The bench area contains the ventilation fan, <br />power generator and substation, offices, change house, storage shop and coal screen- <br />ing facilities (Exhibit A). <br />The major equipment to be used at the Mine is as follows: <br />Lee Norse Continuous Miner <br />Eimco Load-Haul Unit (LHS 935) <br />Belt for Coal Haulage from Mine <br />Fletcher DDO Roof Bolter <br />National Mine Service Shuttle Care <br />102 <br />
