I. During 2004, Oxbow Mining, LLC, (Oxbow) drilled two exploration holes within the
Operator's disturbed area. The location of the drill sites and access roads are shown
on Exhibit F-F, Disturbed Area.
'i
r1
L~
One site, ECM-04-15, is located along the reclaimed bench access road. The other
site, ECM-04-18, is located below the mine bench. It is assumed the roads will be 12-
feet wide and the drill sites 100 feet by 50 feet.
During 2005 Oxbow plans to construct a vent shaft, install associated ventilation fans
and ancillary facilities within the Operator's disturbed area. The disturbance caused by
this project will be along the reclaimed bench access road. Oxbow also plans to utilize
Pond 3 to collect run-off from its disturbed area. The following table lists the
approximate disturbance created by Oxbow:
Drill Site Road Length Feet Disturbed Area Acres
ECM-04-15 2004 980 0.27
ECM-04-18 2004 590 0.16
2 Drill Sites 2004 100' X 50' 0.23
Fan Site 2005 N/A 2.80
Totals 1,360 3.46
It will be Oxbow's responsibility to reclaim all disturbance caused by its activities within
the Operator's disturbed area. Additionally, Oxbow's disturbance will be removed from
the Operator's disturbed area. It may be necessary to survey Oxbow's actual
disturbance to clearly establish the boundary between Oxbow's and the Operator's
disturbed area.
MR-14
113x
3/05
