6.4.3 EXHIBIT C - Pre-mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands
1.) The maps must be signed by a registered land surveyor professional engineer or other
qualified person. Please display the date of when the map was prepared. Please display a
map scale, keep in mind that the map scale can be no larger that Iinch = 50 feet nor
smaller than 1 inch = 660 feet.
2.) On the map submitted for this exhibit titles "Permit Boundary and Man Made
Structure GPS Coordinates," for each of the structures noted on the map please display
the name of the Owner of each structure.
3.) Please display where the topsoil will be stored for reclamation for the life of the
operation, please keep in mind that the topsoil will need to be stored in a location where it
will be handled as little as possible and will not be disturbed by the mining operation as it
proceeds. If other overburden will be stored on site please indicate where these
stockpiles will be located.
4.) Please display how mining will proceed through the life of the mine. Indicate the
direction the operation will precede. If you will be mining the site in phases, display
these phases on Mining Plan Map.
5.) If you will be using any equipment or facilities to process the minded material, please
indicate where they will be located throughout the mining operation.
6.) On the mine plan map, please display the existing topography of the area with contour
lines of sufficient detail to portray the direction and rate of slope of the affected land.
7.) Is there a road that leads into the permit area? If a road is built or if one is
substantially improved to access the mine site, the area of that road must be included in
the permit area and accounted for in the reclamation plan.
6.4.4 EXHIBIT D - Mining Plan
1.) In the mining plan it states, "Material to be mined is gravel and caliche of varying
depth with up to three (3) feet of topsoil overburden". Please explain this sentence. How
deep is the topsoil at the site, and to what depth will the topsoil be salvaged? Please keep
in mind that all available topsoil will need to be salvaged for reclamation throughout the
entire mine site as mining proceeds.
2.) How deep is the overburden?at the site? As stated above, the overburden will need to
be stripped and stored separately from the topsoil.
3.) How deep is the deposit of gravel and caliche that will be mined? Please estimate
maximum pit depth?
2
