M-2006-084
Adequacy Response AM - (9 I /
Dear Mr. Travis Marshall:
In response to the Division's adequacy review that we received, the following corrections,
clarifications, and confirmations have been made to the permit application:
1) Material excavated from wetland footprints will be transported directly from the track hoe to a
haul truck, and the haul truck will haul all material to either a stockpile location or the crusher
itself. The stockpiles are all outside of the wetland footprints, such as Phases 1-3 and the
processing area to the south of the pit. (Page D-1)
2) Mining in the pit will take place to approximately 25 feet throughout the pit, including in the
wetland footprint areas. (Page D-1)
3) Map C-3 indicates the volume of the topsoil berm along the south side of the pit, at 4,000 CY.
(Appendix C)
4) A USACOE letters affirming the wetlands delineation along with Tulloch Rule comments is
attached in Exhibit J.
5) The lake to be created in final reclamation will be 48.92 acres. Map F has been corrected to
reflect this. (Appendix C)
6) 19.37 acres of wetland shelf will be constructed as part of the reclamation plan. Map F has
been corrected to reflect this. (Appendix C)
7) See Item #4
