Discharge structures will be designed according to standard engineering design procedures. Transportation Facilities Haulage Roads. The following describes the design and construction of the existing haul roads at the Yoast Mine. The locations of existing haul roads are shown on Exhibits 12-1, Operations Plan, and 13-1, Facilities Map. Geotechnical and geological investigations were completed for these roads and can be found in Attachments 13-5, Geotechnical Investigation Haul Roads Y-A and Y-B, and Pond 010, and 13-6, Geological Report for Haul Roads A and B. Proposed haulroads will be constructed using the recommendations included in these reports General Requirements. SCC will construct, maintain and reclaim haul roads to minimize erosion and siltation, air and water pollution and damage to public and private property. To the extent possible, using the best technology currently available, haul roads will not cause damage to fish, wildlife, or related environmental values and will not cause additional contributions of suspended solids to streamflow or to runoff outside the permit area. Any such contribution shall not be in excess of limitations of State or Federal law. TR-37 11 Revised 02/08
