3.1.3 Fecal Coliform
Fecal Coliform has been detected in three different wells during the sampling period from January 2008 through October
2008. These detections were in wells CRMW04, CMRW09 and CRMW41. During the October 2008 sampling event 2.0
mpn/100 ml was detected in CRMW41 and CRMW09 and 9.0 mpn/100 ml in CRMW04. Fecal coliform was detected at 8.0
and 13.0 mpn/100 ml in October of 2007.
The fecal coliform concentrations have been higher both in October 2007 and October 2008. There are numerous septic
fields in the area along with a large mobile home park currently on a septic system. The mobile home park is currently in the
process of permitting a wastewater treatment plant. The higher concentrations in the fall sampling events are likely to be a
result of the higher groundwater at this time.
Fecal Coliform
Wells (CRMW) Site/Group

01 02 04 05 06 07 09 16 40 41 42 A VG
Oct-05 U U U 2 2 2 ---- ---- U 2 ---- 1.0
Nov-05 U ---- U ---- U ---- ---- ---- ---- U ---- 0.0
Dec-05 U 2 U ---- 2 U ---- ---- U U ---- 0.6
Apr-06 U U U ---- U U ---- ---- U 22 ---- 0.0
Jul-06 U U U ---- U U ---- ---- U U ---- 0.0
Oct-06 U ---- U ---- U ---- ---- ---- ---- U ---- 0.0
Dec-06 ---- ---- ---- ----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
Apr-07 2 U 2 ---- 2 ---- U U ---- U ---- 0.9
Jul-07 ---- ---- ---- ---
----
----
----
---
----
----
----
----
Oct-07 8 ---- 8 ---- 13 ---- ---- ---- ---- U ---- 7.3
Jan-08 ---- ---- ---- ----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
----
Apr-08 U --- U ---- U ---- ---- ---- ---- U ---- 0.0
Jul-08 ---- ---- ---- ----
----
----
----
----
---
----
----
----
Oct-08 U ---- 9 ---- ---- ---- 2 ---- ---- 2 ---- 3.3
Average 1.0 0.4 1.9 ---- 2.1 0.5 ---- ---- 0.0 0.4 0.0 1.07
Stnd
Dev. 2.5 0.9 3.5 ---- 4.2 1.0 ---- ---- 0.0 0.9 0.0 2.55
2007
Baseline 3.7 1.3 1.0 ---- 1.7 ---- --- --- ---- 1.0 ---- 1.0
The average fecal coliform concentration level for the entire site has increased 0.07 mpn/100ml to 1.07 mpn/100ml from the
2007 annual report.
